People owning Motorola Moto X, sometimes find their mobile running slow, find their applications not working properly or even confronting lag issues. For problems like these the best option is to clear the cache mounted on the Moto X.
People can also use third party application cleaners to format cache’s. But, it is always suggested that people should use recovery mode to format the cache of Moto X.
Here is how one can clear the format the cache of Moto X.
Step 1:
Switch off the Moto X device. Press the power button for about 2-3 seconds. There will be a switch-off option displayed on the screen. Tap the button and initiate switch-off.
Step 2:
Initiate access to boot option. Press and hold the volume down and power button, in order to step into the fastboot mode. Hold both the buttons for 4 to 5 seconds in order to let the boot option be displayed. After few seconds release the fingers from the buttons.
Step 3:
Opt fore the recovery option using the down volume button and finally to select it press the volume up button. Do not select the power button unintentionally. This will again reboot the phone. Once the navigation is complete using the volume down and up button, the phone will finally process the recovery mode.
Once the Motorola splash page is displayed, there you will see the picture of a dead Android.
Step 4:
When the Motorola logo is displayed, hold and press power button, just for a few seconds. After this hold the volume up button in order to boot in recovery. This will initiate the recovery mode menu on the display.
Step 5:
Make use of the volume down or up button in order to highlight and select the wipe cache partition.
Step 6:
After this for confirmation press the power button.
Step 7:
Hang on for few seconds, in order to complete finish the process. After this it will guide you to the recovery menu.
Step 8:
After this select reboot system and finally press the power button for confirmation.
Step 9:
The other way to clear the application cache is by entering the settings option > Application Manager> select the application and finally clear the cache.
