IOS devices have the internet sharing feature like the android devices. You can share the internet connection of your iPhone or iPad with other devices like computer or laptop and this is done using the personal Hotspot in iPhone. This process is little different than on android. Personal Hotspot is related to Wi-fi connection and Bluetooth, so if you want to use the Personal Hotspot then it requires the Wi-fi connection and Bluetooth to be turned on together in order to share the net connection. You need to go to settings and then Cellular Data to enable the Personal Hotspot in your iPhone. Turn on the personal Hotspot. As you turn it on, you will be asked to turn on the Wifi and Bluetooth and it will allow you to share the net with other devices. Sometimes and error happens and you may be not able to use your iPhone as a Hotspot. This problem may arise because of several reasons which can be solved by maintaining some practices.
Ways to solve personal Hotspot issue:
- Personal Hotspot requires the Wi-fi and Bluetooth to be turned on, but the Hotspot page should be always opened. Don’t go for the Wifi and Bluetooth and enable them after closing the Hotspot page. Once you have connected to the other devices, the Hotspot page can be closed and you can go back to the home screen.
- Sometimes you can face this issue when there is no prompt to turn on the Wi-fi connection and Bluetooth as you turn on the personal hotspot. This occurs when the iPhone device is not noticeable in your system. In that case, don’t wait for the prompt and slide the control center to turn on Wi-fi and Bluetooth from your system. This should solve the problem.
Consider the above points when you will be using the personal Hotspot feature in your iPhone. These will hopefully solve any issues and you may have and will be able to use your iPhone as a Hotspot.
